common sounds
Horror movies have multiple sounds that are famous to give the films that creepy goosebump type feeling. For instance normal people use everyday items to make horror movie sounds like munching on crackers or stepping on tomatoes, crushing peppers to give an illusion of monsters like zombies eating on humans. Spoon and knife noises are used as well to show an enemy is about to murder.

elements of genre
There are many elements of genre in an Epic. For example, A hero and a journey, mythical creature (fantasy or mythical), Ambitious nature shots, a large battle (usually a war but can also be mythical), Symphonic music scores, and unusual costumes.

Some examples of Epic films are The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, The Hobbit, 300 Apocalypse

Some common sounds that take place in Epics are mystical/magical movies to bring joy and spirit or even loud suspenseful sounds. Others can include diegetic sound, any said during a scene. Non-diegetic sound, any sound added after the film to create emotion. Or even no sound to bring an ominous tone.
